Sacrifices definitely had to be made in order to get them in as alts for a character whose moveset was clearly not designed for them. I mean, they work well enough with Jr’s kit that it doesn’t look weird to see them doing his moves aside from maybe the Final Smash, (and using their wands like a hammer in Ult), but none of them ever had Jr Clown Cars prior to Smash 4, and obviously their models had to be changed in size to allow them all to share the same hurtbox. It’s still cool to have them, though; they obviously weren’t going to get in as 7 individual characters, and Jr having a different character on every alt is wholly unique in Smash as of right now and makes choosing which alt you want to use feel like a bigger deal
