Id of much preferred this for the Mechagnomes. Hell they looked like this in game before they made the playable ones horrible mecha diaper baby atrocities and the worst looking race in the game to me.
No idea why they didnt go with the cool actual sentient magitech clockwork robot look.

The shitloads of work honestly comes down to giving them a lower half reminiscent of Saurok and Sethrak. Just some reptilian lower half and write some bullshit lore about how these ones used the arcane to give themselves legs to make it easier for them to traverse the land. We've already seen plenty of examples of Naga with legs before.

Sethrak have no excuse. They are fully kitted out to be a playable race and just aren't, because the Alliance needs Junk Gnomes, I guess.
