the "outside agitators" rhetoric is a divide and conquer technique

Cops pretending to be protesters to start shit is something that happens at every protest in every country.
You pretending that it's a new thing doesn't invalidate that people are angry at injustice

Because the conversation on riots/looting being good or bad was a derailing of the topic of the protest.
