If we funnel more $ to police depts, it strengthens their power & reach AND makes sure that we can't use that $ on anything else! An absurd amount of $ is already spent on policing: in NYC, the police budget this year is $6 *billion*, in LA it's $3 billion, in DC it's >$500 million. That is S0 much $.
