What if we actually were capable of amending the damn thing anymore without forcing a whole political party into supermajorities? What if we had people who gave a shit about enforcing laws when someone does something as basic as refuse to divest themselves from potential conflicts of interest and then having the government spend money on themselves? What if people weren't capable of just refusing to do their jobs so they can block court nominees from the other party?
