Europe already took the first step. All they need is for this to stay long enough for people to look the other way and then tweak its scope far beyond just "hate speech" until they can protect their own asses with it, sort of like Twitch's new rule that bans people implying that their mods are simps giving special treatment to female streamers. It all begins with just protecting "vulnerable minorities" at first, but alas, laws are ultimately made by the powerful to stay in power.
