Gee, who would have thought that
- recycling the same characters over and over
- reviving characters right after they die to maintain the status quo and the money machine running
- picking bad writers that would rather pander to small audiences that won't ever buy a copy of their work rather than making good stories
- changing known characters for 'diversity quota' character instead of creating new characters
- abusing "alternate time lines" and "parallel universes" so much that borders on fanfic territory

eventually would get stale and don't sell as much, getting overtaken by stories on self-contained universes with better character development, better written drama and not being chained to a dying industry obsessed by the status quo.

I'm shocked. SHOCKED, I say.

Well, it helps that japanese manga artist and writers are actually trying to make good stories and characters rather than just pander and virtue signal like Marvel and DC are doing.
