There's an Youtuber called videogamedunkey. He is pretty popular. He is a big fan of Mario, and almost everything Nintendo.

Videogamedunkey can't stand the sight of any anime game or JRPGs. He can't stand Fire Emblem and Xenoblade and was having a freak-out over Pyra being on Smash.

And he holds a large influence. His fans parrot his opinions. So they do hate anime. A comment very popular on his subReddit when Pyra was released was that anime treated women like sub-human sex dolls, and that is also dumb. That is what they think of anime.
