Notes:

To my knowledge, this is the first version of this meme to make an actual joke in reference to canonical experiences of a specific character named Eric as compared to another actual movie, as opposed to generically applying the original line verbatim to random media where crazy things happen to people, and I made it specifically to spite those low-effort versions and defy their repetitiveness.

Given the long-running status of South Park combined with its deranged nature, there are probably a lot of other specific versions that could be made in reference to Cartman, including for cases where the events in the show weren't deliberately referencing the movie cited. He's hands-down better-suited for this meme in that regard than any other famous Eric.
