All games have flaws and some can argue the flaws today are worse. Back then we had jankey cameras, objects that can halt speed instantly, and out of bounds glitches. Today we have game breaking bugs, save bricking glitches, performance issues, and more. The flaw of being able to patch a game is that companies aren't as pressued to be as thorough with testing, knowing they can path it later. Old games have issues yah and maybe we don't see them due to nostalgia, but if we just started playing games today I bet 20 years in the future the situation would be the same.
