Here is the thing, the government is refusing to act grown up or treat the Canadian people as grown ups.

The issue is mandates, even people who got vaccinated don't want the government to have legal authority to force people to get a medical procedure. Cause that sort of thing says the people are the property of the government, cause the people aren't being allowed bodily autonomy.

And by the "government" I more specifically politicians who refuse to actually talk to people and instead hide behind others (think police and the military) and ask them to solve a problem for them. Even thought the problem could have been solved weeks ago if they just bothered to open up talks.

Asking for a removal of mandates is them asking to be treated as adults.

That accountless thing is a concern of mine as well in the states. I seem to recall reading somewhere that someone is not allowed to own more than $25,000 in cash in one place without that place being registered as a bank. A few years of saving here has me inching towards that. You gonna tell me I need to advertise to the world that I have at least 25 grand lying around? Paint a huge "rob me" target on my house?
