"in the previous one i colored on the flats directly, but here i separated everything. the result is cleaner but it's less fun to do process-wise. there is a happy medium somewhere... i am still trying to figure out the best way to go about rendering delicate plane changes w/o it looking too diluted."

And I just wanted to explain to them that I had seen the light... 1 Traditional Bavarian/Austrian greeting, literally "may God greet you". Used in these regions as a general greeting, instead of "good day". Likely used here to underscore the White Yoshi's religious nature. 2 In this guide, all Yoshis repeatedly refer to themselves as having fur. Supper Mario Broth @MarioBrothBlog Development files for Yoshi's Island show that at some point, Yoshi's animations attempted to create smear frames by duplicating part of the sprite. Unused "Cookie Yoshi" model found in the files of Yoshi's Woolly World. As it resembles the Kirby's Epic Yarn-style early Yoshi design for the game, this could have been a scrapped idea for a transformation whereby Yoshi would turn into a cookie.
