About

Taiwan Coolfox is a side-scrolling platformer video game published by Lijia Films on June 30th, 2025. In the game, players take on the role of a furry anthropomorphic fox hero or heroine through seven levels and eight boss fights. The game went viral following its release for its seemingly low production values, comparisons between the design of its protagonist and Miles "Tails" Prower from Sonic the Hedgehog and for the design of the gorillas in one section of the game, which were accused of being racist by incorporating Black stereotypes. The game has also inspired a notable amount of fan art and garnered a sizable fandom since its debut.
