I haven't followed the Pokémon anime in decades, only experiencing memes like Greninja choking for yet another Ash defeat. But this new season is making me believe the animators were replaced by people with actual balls and talent.

Brock finally meeting love, Team Rocket finally winning in a fair fight, Ash finally winning the damn thing and now the main story finally ending. It took 25 fucking years but we finally got character development and a story that goes somewhere. Makes me almost want to watch it.
