Cast and crew members were introduced to the animals and instructed on their proper handling. Bird Action: Throughout the film, Jill (Adam Sandler) has a pet cockatoo named Poopsie, who was seen performing such mild action as walking around a room, squawking, being held, lying down, and eating/drinking. For all of these scenes, trainers used verbal commands and food rewards to cue the mild action, which the trained bird was accustomed to performing. Several of the scenes were filmed against a green screen, and some of the bird moments, such as flying, involved a CGl bird, Sets were secured. doors/windows were closed. and trainers/crew members stood nearbv as a precaution
