Here's another fun fact about that movie: The field mouse was originally voiced by Betty White, but Bluth disliked her performance so replaced her with Carol Channing. He didn't know Channing and White were really good friends, so when Channing brought it up in conversation to White, saying she had just voiced a mouse in an animated movie, White replied "So did I, what an odd coincidence."

Bluth apparently got an angry call from White's agent the next day.
