"It's been a minute, how is your Dungeons and Dragons stuff going?" Last night my players fought their way through an enclave of bandits in the sewers. The bandit leader and a few of his lieutenants turned out to be wererats. Wererats are people afflicted with a curse that turns them into rat-human hybrids. They were using the sewers as a base of operations. The bandit leader whom my players nicknamed "Rattigan", had two large gold fang fillings they displayed as a status symbol. When it came time to interrogate him, our Druid cast the spell "Heat Metal" on the fillings causing him to scream in intense agony as his mouth burned. It was a clever use of the spell and they had a fun time trying to find out who ironically the "Rat" in the Harpers was. Though the damage they caused to his mouth prevented him from divulging the information, but our Cleric healed him and the Druid cast Heat Metal again. They repeated the process three times.
