Replies I can top this story. It's from someone I know. When pharmaceutical company Schering was bought by Bayer, there was a lot of restructuring going on. The entire department of my friend was dissolved. They fired everybody, except him. He was the head of the department and for some reason they forgot to dissolve his contract. So for the next five years, he went there every morning, played computer games in his old office, and went home in the evening. For an insane salary, I might add. Until one day, someone asked "Mr soandso, where are your co-workers?" That's how they found out. They gave him € 700,000 and fired him. He used the money to build a house. Add a reply... O x ✓ O
