The problem is, all it does is drive income disparity to the f------ Moon and annihilate the middle class. Just think about it for a second: before being able to pay taxes, people need to pay >rent / mortgage >food >water >electricity >gas >phone / internet >transportation >clothing All just to survive. So how the hell does it make any sense that everyone gets equally taxed their entire income when, for the average person, the vast majority of it goes just into basic survival? If you earn 3000 a month and you spend 2000 of it to survive, only the "extra" 1000 should be taxed, not the whole 3000. With a taxation of 25%, that means paying 250 a month instead of 750, which equals to saving 6000 a year. For people who aren't rich, that's a massive difference: if you don't have money to invest in yourself and in your family, you'll be stuck in poverty hell until the day you literally die. Besides, virtually all millionaires and billionaires obtain their wealth through ways that actively harm their nation's economy. >hiring immigrants instead of locals >moving production abroad >keeping headquarters and bank accounts in fiscal paradises >selling exported products at lower prices >using bogus patents and copyrights to create artificial monopolies >banding together into gigantic international corporations to kill all competition >receiving subsidies and public contracts for following questionable political agendas F--- that s---. Every single one of these practices should translate into a massive taxation increase for both the business owners and all of their employees and investors.
