Real Feng Shui came from Taoist alchemy. It also doesn't resemble anything like what passes for Feng Shui. Here in the West pop Feng Shui is 99% bullshit because you never here about how bedrooms must face south and kitchens must face west. Instead it's all about interior decoration. You also rarely hear about the 5 elements and how a proper Feng Shui is about balancing those elements to build an auspicious chi. So don't ever build a living room with wooden walls and floors and have a stone fireplace in it because wood element depletes earth element and will create a sinister chi.

And if you think real Feng Shui sounds like even worse bullshit from the middle ages, than new age hippie bullshit that is pop Feng Shui, well congrats on having a working brain.
