This marks a huge moment in the evolution of Al technology and of the workplace. It takes the idea of an "Al employee" from concept to reality - and marks the start of a new journey for Lattice, to lead organizations forward in the responsible hiring of digital workers. Within Lattice's people platform, Al employees will be securely onboarded, trained, and assigned goals, performance metrics, appropriate systems access, and even a manager. We know this process will raise a lot of questions and we don't yet have all the answers, but we want to help our customers find them. If you want to set yourself apart in this market, you have to do more than that. If you want to truly stand out, truly be unforgettable... send a ransom note. Make sure it's hand written(by the person you have temporarily acquired possession of) and have it delivered via certified mail, requiring a signature. Boom, immediate feedback. Coltin Caverhill • 3rd+ Engineering Manager at Yelp 4d. • + Follow Managers, be very careful what you say to your engineers! I commented in a slack thread. It was a simple comment of "I wish we had feature X". I thought I was being fun. I thought it would get emoji responses and we would move on. The engineers solved it. Do you know how much we pay Software Engineers!? I did not mean for them to work on this thing and solve my issue. But they wanted to make things better, and if the manager points out an issue, they felt like it should be solved. This was not a big deal, and not a ton of time was spent, but it was a good reminder for me that I am not an engineer, I am a manager. And while that title is mostly meaningless to me, it means something to others. What I say magically holds more gravity not because of the merit of the statement, because of the title I hold.
