There's been such a large stride in video game adaptions over these last couple of years with a few of them managing both critical and commercial success. This is not one of them.

If anything its walked the sub-genre several steps backwards to the likes of the 93' Super Marios Bros movie kind of bad (which I unironically love because its so fucking gonzo and detached from its source material its feel like cocaine addled fever dream).
