He didn't think anything of it but a girl overheard us and she raised her tone at me because I had compared him to a monkey. I thought she was retarded and said that lemurs were marsupials, not monkeys. She doubled down. People were very silent on our surroundings but I could tell most people agreed with me that lemurs were marsupials. I told her to google it and that I'd shave my beard if lemurs were monkeys. Lemurs are monkeys. Apparently carrying your baby in a skin pocket isn't enough to consider an animal a marsupial. Instead it's some embrionary b------- that I don't quite understand that characterizes marsupials. Who the f--- thought that was a good idea? Lemurs don't even look like monkeys. They just look like meerkats' ghosts. This is not a "hysterical sjw" story, no one got quite mad at me because out 100 people only 1 will know that lemurs are monkeys. But I did have to go back to looking 15yo and now I'll only be able to f--- p-------- cougars. It will take me 14 months to have a respectable beard because of my genes.
