Theme: The Collapse of Culture and Relationships There was a time when the boundary between Pokémon and humans was blurred. In a coastal village, there was a man. One day, as he was walking along the shore, he found a female Octillery washed up on the beach. The man had relations with the Octillery and then threw it back into the sea. The next day, he went to the same spot and found the same Octillery again. He once more had relations with it and threw it back into the sea as before. One night, after several days had passed, the man had a dream. In the dream, the Octillery spoke to him. "I cannot come to you, but I will deliver our child to you. It is our child, yours and mine." The next morning, the man went to the place where he had met the Octillery. There, he found a boy. The man took the boy home and raised him. Time passed, the boy grew into a young man, and the father passed away. The young man was always lonely. One day, as the young man was walking along the shore, he saw a group of people playing in the distance. They all held very large swords in their hands as they danced. The young man approached the people, and as he got closer, he saw that Sharpedo were playing along the beach. When he tried to get even closer, the Sharpedo suddenly leapt into the sea all at once. However, one of the Sharpedo lingered, looking around three times before swimming away. At the spot where the Sharpedo had been playing, there was a large sword lying on the ground. It was a shape he had never seen before, and it was very sharp and pointed. The young man took the sword home. The next day, the young man took the sword and went into the forest. While walking through the forest, he encountered an Ursaring. He tried slashing at the Ursaring's mouth with the sword, and the mouth was easily severed. Next, he stabbed at the Ursaring's eyes, and they were easily pierced. Finally, the young man thrust the sword into the Ursaring's chest, and the Ursaring died effortlessly. That day, the young man killed thirty Ursaring. After that, he always carried the sword with him, playing by injuring the Pokémon he encountered or cutting off parts of their bodies. One autumn, while the young man was searching for firewood, he lost his way. After walking for a while, he stumbled upon an Ursaring's den. Inside, there was an elderly Ursaring lying down. The elderly Ursaring looked at the young man and said, "Come inside." The young man hesitated, but as it was getting dark outside, he entered the den. Before long, people began to enter the den one after another, filling the room completely. Looking closer, he saw that all the people had scarred faces, and some were missing their eyes. They were chatting among themselves, but the young man ignored them and fell asleep. At one point, he woke up to find the elderly Ursaring lying beside him. He fell asleep again. When he awoke once more, there were many people around, talking about something. Again, the young man ignored them and went back to sleep. When spring arrived, the elderly Ursaring spoke. "Do you want to go home? Then I shall send you home. When you return, a Wailord will soon be found near the village. Go there. We will send a man. You must leave the sword behind and bring a witness. Why did you do such things, cutting faces and slicing off noses?" The elderly Ursaring escorted the young man back to the village. Upon his return, the young man recounted everything that had happened to the villagers. The following morning, the young man took some villagers with him and headed to the shore. As they walked along the coast, they found a large Wailord. Nearby, on the beach, was a Teddiursa. When it noticed the young man, the Teddiursa hid in the forest, and a large Ursaring came out in its place. As the Ursaring charged at him, the young man tried to draw the sword he had hidden, but it got stuck, and he couldn't pull it out. So, he rushed at the Ursaring with his bare hands. The young man and the Ursaring grappled, punching each other's faces. They strangled each other with all their strength. And so, they choked each other to death, collapsing on top of one another. The villagers went back and told others what they had seen.

Forwarded The Rainbow Rocket story event was originally planned for Sun and Moon, conceptualized as far back as July 2nd, 2015. There are some key differences compared to the final release. Adjacent to the Alola region is a space called the "Ultra Hole" and as consequence of the Aether Foundation's actions, Ultra Space begins to become unstable and mixes with other worlds. Giovanni and other villain leaders from other regions in these worlds come together to Alola. After becoming Champion, news of a new Battle Facility, called the "Battle Tree" makes its way across the region. The bosses of this new facility are Red and Blue, and they challenge the MC and Hau to a battle to celebrate. Afterwards, Prof. Kukui announces the "Alola Gym Project", where the MC must now form Gyms around Alola and recruit trainers to be Gym Leaders. The first Gym Leader of Melemele is the Champion, the player. Team Rainbow Rocket grunts begin causing trouble around the region, pissing off Guzma and Team Skull Lusamine is still suffering from the after effects of fusing with Nihilego when Aether technology is stolen. Lillie and Gladion alert the player about this mishap. The duo are considering taking Lusamine to Bill in the Kanto region. On Ula'ula island, Maxie and Archie are having an argument on which is better, the land or sea. Depending on which version you have, you can team up with either of the two leaders in a double battle against the opposite leader and Hau. At the Observatory, the MC has a battle with Colress to test their capabilities. Afterwards, Colress summons an alternate Cyrus, who battles the MC after meeting their Rotom. In a confrontation with Faba, Sina and Dexio will get involved and it will eventually crossoer with a planned Zygarde event in the game. Team Skull Grunts and Team Rainbow Rocket Grunts break out into a large conflict Ghetsis tries to recruit Colress, but he rejects it, and gives the MC an item. This item is connected to a story in BW. The Rainbow Rocket bosses begin to attack the Gyms the MC setup throughout Alola. Giovanni defeats the MC in a scripted battle, and becomes the new Alola Champion. This motivates the other villain leaders. MC's mother motivates them to protect Alola Professor Kukui gives the MC a special TM to power them up, and it is tied to special Z-Move lore. The MC and Hau go into Ultra Space to take on Rainbow Rocket Red and Blue join the fight as well Giovanni battles the MC and Hau, loses, and escapes. The Aether tech that opened a hole into Ultra Space goes out of control and creates a rift. This rift sucks up some of the villain leaders and sends them back to their worlds. The real Giovanni appears and closes the rift The real Giovanni explains that RR Giovanni was actually a Rocket grunt that greatly admired Giovanni and after falling into Ultra Space, masqueraded as a fake Giovanni. The group return back to Alola. Red and Blue ask Giovanni what the "former Gym Leader"'s goal is, and he says it is to be a trainer his son can be proud of. The story ends with Lillie and Lusamine going to Kanto, with Gladion taking over as the head of the Aether Foundation. In a post credits scene, we are at Alolan Oak's house, with a picture of Red and Blue when they first started their journeys. Filled with several new facilities to compete in like the Battle Deck or a puzzle-like facility focused on shogi. If your battle status is proficient enough, the cruise could even stop at ports across the world to allow you to battle strong trainers and even Champions from different regions. Travel the world aboard a cruise engaging in battles and communications with other trainers 23 ports in total, some featuring cities from previous regions such as Castelia City and Vermillion City The more battles you win, the more popular you become, and special trainers from other regions will start challenging you at their ports Trainers aboard the ship are called "Cruise Trainers" and through various interactions and battles, your bond can deepen with them, allowing you to do special things such as rare trades! If your bond reaches the max level, you can even team up with other "Cruise Trainers" in the facilities Some of the facilities included Deck Battle: A standard battle facility where the goal is to win consecutively. After a certain amount of wins, you can challenge the "Battle Captain" Team Battle: Form a team with other "Cruise Trainers" to win in this facility. The key is to deepen your bonds with other "Cruise Trainers". Fast Battle: A battle facility where the Pokemon battle in a simplified system that even beginners can enjoy. Training Center: A fun place to learn how to hone your skills in battle via puzzles, quizzes and, shogi. Utilize the "rental battle" even if you don't have your own Pokemon to use. Event Hall: A special meeting grounds for "Cruise Trainers" and other special guests. Events such as concerts and parties will be held to deepen your relationship with others aboard. Special encounters may even be possible? Grow-Up!: A center where all the standard Pokemon training facilities are, such as Daycare, the Judge, and an "Egg Road" for hatching. Forwarded A cut feature from Pokemon X and Y, that would later be implemented into Sun and Moon as well as later titles, are throwing styles There would've been an NPC that would allow you to change throwing styles, and depending on the battle, your rivals/friends would use different throwing styles as well.
