Even the anti-Union and pro-Corporate mentality stems from nutjob Evangelicals that migrated to the US in the 1800s who for some reason believed that you lived for the sole purpose of working instead of you know, the other way around (also, there's the so-called "prosperity gospel" that most Evangelicals believe in) When you do any research into America's problems, you'll see that ALL of them trace back to Evangelicals, who make up a 3rd of American society.
