On my 2070S, at 4K Performance mode, transformer model is 3 ms more expensive than CNN. If you're aiming at 60 fps it's still an okay choice, but you can as well use higher quality mode and inject CAS, sometimes even for better performance gains. But for high refresh rates, additional 3 ms is just way too much.
