Yes, this is a <a href="https://www.targeta.co.uk/wheretogo.htm">true story</a> and the infographic misses out one small, but important bit of info. The house was being used as a "target" by the RAF, so the jet fighters would either go to as low as they could and skim pass the house in a "Boom and Zoom" manoeuvre, or fly directly at the house in a steep dive before pulling off. This terrified the farmer's children and the constant sonic booms were also damaging his property as well, leading to him painting "Piss off Biggles" on his roof.
