□ Anonymous (ID RLuw5nj) 11/14/12(Wed)01.50 09 No 436929 130 Reples: 2deseoses I posted this story on a thread a few days ago, but here it is again >Be 17, senior, volunteering at a hospital to get enough hours to graduate >My job was playing music on the pano >Get pretty bored one night and start playing Pallt Town theme from Pokémon >Guy with a bandaged up rolls on into the rec room in a wheelchair (early 20s) >looks freaky whatthefuck.jpg He asks if that's a song from Pokémon 5"Why yest It's the Pallet Town theme" >He and I start talking about Pokémon and eventually spend over an hour talking about life, women, college, death, and just about everything in between sTurns out, he has some serious brain tumor and the surgery is in a few days >Start coming in everyday after that to play old nintendo music on the piano and talk to him >One day I come in and he isnt there >Nurse says that he has surgery this moming and died of a hemorrhage >allofmyfeels.jpg >She says he left me something lt's an envelope with a note and shiny Blastoise card in it >The note reads, "My game may be ending but yours is just beginning Thanks for the nostalgia and keep rocking on, piano man" Im 22 now and still keep the card in my wallet

They sit around watching what everyone else is doing instead of living their own life. Even on here for every poster there's at least 500 lurkers just watching us post, trapped in a never-ending cycle of living the same repeating day over and over again. They would like to contribute but they just don't know what it means to be alive and create something new. All they have are these little bits of life from other people and it affects the creators too who recycle other's ideas instead of producing from their own real experiences. All the energy and beauty in the world that inspired us to greater possibilities is rapidly disappearing as everyone chooses to lie down and quietly die with a whimper instead.
