This kid was doomed to fandom hatred before he was even used as the Catalyst's hologram or whatever (I think that was supposed to be symbolic of something but I really can't tell. What was it symbolizing?). He's just a lame attempt to garner sympathy. I get that he's supposed to be representative of all the people that Shepard wasn't able to save but they could have done it in a much less ham-fisted manner.

Hah, yeah. That kid was the one of the only "characters" I never cared about in the entire series. Even that damn reporter was more interesting (not the one you could punch, the other one in ME3).
