I haven't played Destiny, but /v/ shits on everything anyway

Haven't played it, but from what I've seen it seems like a Borderlands styled game with terrible voice acting, overdone music, a generic light vs darkness story, incomplete story (a main character leaves to do other shit is the ending), and lack of content.

Of course this is based on a video that claimed they finished the story in 4/6 hours. I don't like FPS with regenerative health, so I ain't even touching it.

So yeah, victim of excessive hype, perhaps a fun 6-7/10 game to play with friends in weekends but not something Activision should've spent 500 million dollars developing as a franchise.
