In Canadian schools they always show us how we're ranked super high for the standard of living and shit, right up with places like Denmark and Sweden. Then we get to the section where they compare post-secondary education and taxes. I have never seen such fear in so many children's eyes before.

This map is a bit out of date: the last German state to charge tuition just dropped it, so now that country should be blue as well.
