MEET THE MIKE. Mike was a chicken which had been beheaded in september 1945 Thanks to inaccurate axe hit, his brainstem remained almost intact and Mike lived happily for the next 18 months. However, Mike hasn't become a vegetable - he could walk, eat, drink (although only thanks to his owner) and even squeak every moming, which however resembled a gurgle, because of loss of larynx. Mike died in march 1947, when he suffocated himself because of mucus in his respiratory system. His owner forgot to take a syringe, which usually helped with removing the slime That means Mike could live even longer That is F------ brutal
