Is this for real?

If so, then this sounds simultaneously exciting and concerning. I feel somewhat conflicted.

On one hand, it'd be delightful to see my favorite BPs actually get some speaking lines, or do something important. Maybe they could spin the story as a "behind the scenes" episode, detailing the lives and trials of the otherwise inauspicious characters that keep Ponyville from falling apart, or protect it from some unseen threat while the M6 are out on adventures, like the Booster Gold episode from JLU.

On the other… well, the main reason why BPs are popular is because aside from their unique or appealing designs, they largely exist in an abstract, like Schrodinger's Cat.

Very little about their personalities or personal relationships are actually confirmed, enabling us to interpret them however we like. If concrete aspects of their characters are made canon, then they lose that blank slate that made them so beloved, and potentially alienate some fans in the process.

On a brighter note, If this is for real, I'm going to bet that this'll be the 100th episode. I couldn't think of a better opportunity for an episode purely dedicated to fanservice.
