Being a reasonable and objective person, I wanted to come hear the other side of the story, as the pro-gg side on twitter has a lot of shitlords as does the anti-gg. So l have a few questions 1) why the f--- does gg continually focus on individuals like anita and zoey quinn? surely these people have little or nothing to do with the overall goals of GG and continual focus on these individuals is not only distracting to the movement as a whole, but actively stopping it from being taken seriously. I am currently unable to speak about anything i disagree with in anti-gg sentiment because then i have to get lumped with shitlords who send d--- pics to anita. even the banner image in this sub refers to feminist frequency. Who gives a flying f--- about feminist frequency, jesus christ, f--- sake, monkey christ shitballs. i dont agree with most of what FF says, but it's a reasonable and introspective commentary on what is happening in game development, which seems to be exactly what GG wants 2) At which outcome will GG be considered a success? 3) why does GG not care at all about harassment being done in the movement's name? There are a lot of people in the industry who will gladly participate in a conversation about ethics, but for many constant death threats just outweigh that issue. I feel that if for ONE F------ DAY GG could get its s--- together and actually take a f------ stand and seperate the movement from the harassers, it will all resolve. The SJW's on the other hand will not be willing to sit at a table and have a discussion on any other issue until the harassment problem dissapates. I can't f------ stand that people say s--- like 'gamers are dead, I identify as a gamer, but I can't say that s--- in public anymore a big divide between the dev and r communities which f------ sucks and its worse. does gg not realise or not care that everyone else sees this as the ter problem now, thanks to f-------- on twitter. A guy names SailHatan, proGG, tracked down the guy who sent death threats to Anita and handed them off to the cops. The cops said they can't do anything with it unless Anita presses charges. SailHatan passed the info on to Anita. That's the last we heard about it 9 Another proGG, Gel, started the antiharassment patrol, and she and many others donated a lot of their free time to trying to police trolls on Twitter with little effect. She quit becayse she was getting harassed endlessly for her efforts We've also donated to anti-bullying charities KiA and /gamergate/ have strict no doxxing, no brigading, no harassing policies When we learned that the FBl was investigating the swatting and threats, we f------ cheered because we want these people gone as much as anybody else No SENSE oF So lemme turn the question back to you, OP You tell me.
