Sakurai Talks With Us About Other Frequently Voted For Characters In The Smash Ballot Some of you may have seen our article yesterday about Sakurai, the creator of Super Smash Bros, talking in his Famitsu column about how Freddy from the Five Nights at Freddy's series will never be in the more recent games. some of the Smash Ballot entires he and his team have recieved so far and we were lucky to get to talk to him and get some information about what theyre seeing. Here is some of the interview we'd like to share with you So we decided we would ask him a little more about MNN: "So you mentioned that Freddy, from the FNAF series has actually been vote for quite a bit. Are there any other outlandish character votes you've seen that you'd like to share with us? S: I think one that wouldn't come as a surprise to the internet is Shrek. MNN: "Oh, that must be a pain S: It certainly is! I was excited to open up the Smash Ballot to fans, but it is disappointing to see so many of them waste their chance to have their favorite video game character be added as a fighter. MNN: "IfI may ask, just to make the internet realize, is that a confirmation that Shrek will never make it into the game? S: Well.. what's odd to think about is that Shrek technically is eligible to be added to the roster. He has appeared in multiple video games, and is very popular, obviously, unless fans aren't as serious about it as they seem when I read these votes.
