Want a Taco? refers to an offshoot of the "Want a Macaron?" meme, comprised of a drawing of a female chef holding a tray of tacos in which her vagina is a part of the spread, based on the resemblance between her genetalia and the taco shape. The Want a Taco meme gained notoriety and viral spread more than other variants of the exploitable trend, including "Want a Hot Dog?" and "Want a Donut?" among others. The Want a Taco meme was originally posted to TikTok in a photo slideshow and later spread to Twitter / X via reposts.

Origin

It's currently unknown who created the Want a Taco image, as it was likely removed due to TikTok's content moderation policies.

The earliest repost of the image was shared by X^[1] user @miyAsagi20 on May 18th, 2025, as part of a thread of similar drawings. The drawing is of a woman with a chef's hat holding a tray of tacos with her vagina in the spread. A text caption asks, "Want a taco?" (censored image shown below).

The meme gained notoriety on social media in May 2025. For instance, on May 19th, TikToker^[2] @michaelneedsafineshyt posted a video using stock photos of tacos with a text caption reading, "'Want a taco?' / Only this one [thank you]." The video received over 32,000 likes in a day (shown below).

Also on May 19th, TikToker^[3] @lisa.damm posted a video, asking who made the Want a Taco drawing, stating that the trend was scaring her. The video received roughly 121,900 likes in a day (shown below).
