According to the ending this was partially done as a tribute to the actress who played Violet in the movie (Denise Nickerson) as she passed away in July 2019 . Yeah it may seem f----- up to some people one her most well known performances is one that lead to the growth of one of the internet's most well known fetishes, but it's also not often someone who played what was a considerably smaller role in such a big movie gets to make a really lasting impression so I view it as a pretty fitting tribute really (as while everyone talks about how much they'll miss the great Gene Wilder you don't often see people mentioning that another actor in the film had a lasting impact).
