Du Bist Gut Genug refers to the song "Gut Genug" by the German musical duo Blumengarten, Kitschkrieg, and rapper Shirin David, during which Rayan, one half of Blumengarten, repeatedly sings in a falsetto, "Du bist gut genug," which translates to, "You are good enough."

The song and music video were released in late May 2026 and went viral on TikTok and Instagram Reels in June as the subject of edits and memes, with many finding Rayan's vocals humorous. Some of the most viral edits set the song to clips of Cleveland Jr. from The Cleveland Show, comparing Cleveland Jr. to Rayan.

Origin

On May 22nd, 2026, the German music duo Blumengarten released their song "Gut Genug." A music video was released alongside the song on YouTube,^[1] gaining over 398,000 views in about two weeks. At one point in the video, Rayan repeatedly sings, "Du bist gut genug," in a high pitch, which means, "You are good enough."

On June 2nd, TikToker^[2] @_kitschkrieg_ posted the clip of Rayan singing that line from the music video, gaining over 5.2 million views in a week.

On June 6th, TikToker^[3] @justlove_161 posted an edit of the clip, garnering over 2.2 million views in three days. This is the earliest known edit of the music video.

As the song "Gut Genug" continued garnering virality in early June 2026, users continued making memes and edits of the song, many of which removed Shirin David's portions to make "Blumengarten Only" versions.

For example, on June 6th, 2026, YouTuber blazalt uploaded an edit titled "KITSCHKRIEG – GUT GENUG 'BLUMENGARTEN ONLY'" that received over 8,500 views, 540 likes and 50 comments in two days.

On June 7th, 2026, TikToker^[4] @aniyw0 posted an edit of an episode of The Cleveland Show where Cleveland Jr. has a rap battle with Kenny West, who is voiced by Kanye West. Cleveland Jr.'s voice has been replaced with "Gut Genug." The video gained over 237,000 views in two days.

On June 8th, 2026, TikToker^[5] @justjaziago posted another Cleveland Jr. edit using the song, garnering over 3.1 million views in a day.

That same day, Instagram^[6] user nusharmeme posted an edit about the song, garnering over 239,000 views and 30,000 likes in a day.
