Description

Greek philosopher Socrates (469-399 BC) often hung around the agora (town square) engaging in debate with people of all ranks. While his contribution to Western philosophy is unparalleled among his peers he was not as appreciated by the contemporary Athenians and was accused of corrupting the minds of the youth in Athens and sentenced to unalivement.
