Overview

Ms. Rachel Antisemite Of The Year Nomination refers to the nomination of children's YouTuber Ms. Rachel as the 2025 "Antisemite of the Year" by the organization StopAntisemitism, following months of antisemitism accusations against the YouTuber, largely supported by StopAntisemitism. The nomination was announced on November 30th, 2025, and quickly sparked mixed reactions online, with some finding the nomination fitting for the ways that Ms. Rachel has shown her support for both Palestinian and Israeli children regarding the Israel-Hamas conflict, and others finding the nomination absurd, especially considering the exclusion of people perceived to be major antisemites online, most notably Nick Fuentes.

Background

Ms. Rachel Antisemitism Accusations

On April 7th, 2025, non-profit advocacy group StopAntisemitism called, via a post on X,[1] for Attorney General Bondi to "investigate if Ms. Rachel is being funded by a foreign party to push anti-Israel propaganda to skew public opinion." They write that since the October 7th, 2023, attacks, Ms. Rachel, a children's YouTuber, has been "transformed into an amplifier of Hamas propaganda, broadcasting to 20M+ followers across her platforms." Their tweet goes on to make several allegations about Ms. Rachel spreading pro-Hamas propaganda.

Ms. Rachel has been outspoken about the conflict between Hamas and Israel and has regularly called for support and aid for children involved in the conflict.

The non-profit accused Ms Rachel of receiving foreign funding to push anti-Israel propaganda. Ms Rachel has been known to share fundraising posts to raise money for children facing the ongoing war in Gaza.

Despite accusations of antisemitism over her advocacy for Palestinian children, Ms. Rachel has expressed sympathy and concerns for the "children in Gaza" broadly and has spoken in support of Israeli children and victims of the conflict.

For example, in a May 16th, 2025, Instagram[2] post, she wrote, "I care deeply for all children. Palestinian children, Israeli children, children in the US – Muslim, Jewish, Christian children – all children, in every country. Not one is excluded." In a July 2025 Instagram post, thought by some to be in response to StopAntisemitism, Ms. Rachel advocated for the rights of "all children," writing, "All children have the right to food, water, medical care and education. All children should be protected from violence."[3]

As of December 2nd, 2025, it has not been proven that Ms. Rachel is being paid to promote pro-Hamas propaganda.

On December 1st, 2025, Pod Save America host and political commentator Jon Favreau made a post on X[8] sharing support for Ms. Rachel and expressing shock over her nomination, writing, "This absolute garbage sets back the fight against antisemitism. What an embarrassment. No idea why anyone would take this account seriously," garnering over 30,000 likes in a day.

Jon Favreau @jonfavs Ms. Rachel is one of the kindest humans in public life who has preached nothing but love for all children, everywhere. She hasn't uttered a cruel word toward anyone, let alone antisemitism. This absolute garbage sets back the fight against antisemitism. What an embarrassment. No idea why anyone would take this account seriously. StopAntisemitism @StopAntisemites - Nov 30 It's that time of year - 2025 Antisemite of the Year. That day, Redditor Mysterious_Brush1852 posted the nominations list to the /r/Jewish[9] subreddit that gained over 700 upvotes and 500 comments in a day, expressing concerns over Ms. Rachel's inclusion, writing:

StopAntisemitism has done a lot of good for us by exposing and reporting antisemites, but including Ms. Rachel on this list was a huge mistake. Yes, she has said very harmful things about Israel and yes, she collabed with Motaz Azaiza who is extremely problematic. But she is a children's entertainer. She has provided support for a 3 year-old Palestinian double-amputee named Rahaf, who lost her legs in an airstrike and was separated from her siblings.

So when she is added onto this list next to antisemites 100x worse than her, people do not take the term "antisemite" as seriously as they should. Adding Ms. Rachel makes it seem like any support of Palestinian civilians and children is enough for someone to be labelled an "antisemite." Obviously that is not the case, but it can be easily misconstrued and misinterpreted that way. It gives us a bad look, especially when she has centered her activism around the suffering of Palestinian children.

Due to her inclusion, people have said the list is a 'badge of honor' and do not take the term seriously anymore. I do not want the term "antisemite" minimized and reduced like this, it benefits none of us.

Also on December 1st, X[10] user @GAZAWOOD1 made a post criticizing Ms. Rachel and supporting the idea of her lying to support Palestinians. In the clip, Ms. Rachel is shown talking about a starving Palestinian named Leen during a time when there was allegedly a "food blockade" in Gaza. Clips of Leen eating food are edited around Ms. Rachel. The post gained over 1,100 likes in a day.
