According to my local news site (The Boston Globe), Desert Storm Commander Schwarzkopf has passed away.

General H. Norman Schwarzkopf, who commanded the US-led international coalition that drove Saddam Hussein's forces out of Kuwait in 1991, has died in Tampa, an official said.

So what?

So what? SO FUCKING WHAT? YOU WOULD BE PROBABLY DEAD NOW IF SADDAM HAD TAKEN OVER THE U.S., YOU WORTHLESS SACK OF SCUM, THIS GENERATION DOESN'T FAIL TO DISSAPOINT ME, disrespecting our war heroes.

On topic: Sad, I didn't know him, but still, war heroes die. At least he was retired and home with family, and it wasn't on a battlefield that he lost his life.

Here's a quote from him apparently:
"I hate war. Absolutely, I hate war … good generalship is a realization that … you've got to try and figure out how to accomplish your mission with a minimum loss of human life."
Sounds like a nice, level headed gentleman.
