“Stains Cupcake Dog” was on the show "It’s Me or the Dog” being taught the “Away” command as it focuses on the food that it wants. The E Channel show “The Soup” showed the little clip that eventually engulfed the internet with many other modified versions in just a few days with millions of viewer hits on Youtube.

Following the viral success of Stains’ Youtube videos, hypnodog.com was founded, with Official Stains’ Merchandise, and new Stains’ videos.

Youtube Derivatives

Stains inspired the Youtube user ebayseller2017 to create 21 different videos of Stains, one for reach holiday and other basic themes.

Although at first it would appear that the act of adding a hat, text, and other virtal props to the video is a common theme among Youtube search results for “Cupcake Dog,” these are all the 21 videos created by ebaseller2017. Even though they make up a large portion of the first two pages of results, they have rather meager viewcounts. This shows that the average Youtube user is probably too savvy to view a person’s ebay profile simply because they view a single iteration of a meme.

Upgrading Cupcake Dog from ‘Deadpool’ to ‘Researching’. Although it had a short life, Cupcake Dog is at least ‘Notable’ for it’s viral and iterative qualities. Needs more research.

What you guys should focus on is how terribly pathetic the dog’s owners are. After moderate exposure on a cable reality show they try to capitalize with a pretty laughable “viral video”.
Also, you don’t name a dog Stains unless you’re a jerk who likes saying, “Come, Stains. Come, Stains!” whenever it’s time to let the dog in.
