"My Faggot Dog" is the name given to an image and copypasta of a picture of a dog with a smug expression, accompanied by a pleading call for help. The dog picture has been used as exploitable and reaction images.

Origin

The original post comes from the Australian website GotGames.com.au forums, where it was first posted on July 19th, 2011 by user Wankee. The post contained the following message and a picture of the dog.[11]

"Every fucking day. Every single fucking day when i come home this little faggot just sits there and gives me this stupid look on his face. What should i do about him? Ideas?"

Wankee's post was reposted on the forums of the defunct page Insidethehype.com the same day, where users made several photoshops of the image. The version posted on Inside the Hype became the official copypasta that would accompany the image (shown below).[12]

After its initial appearance, The My Faggot Dog copypasta was posted in several different forums.[3][4][5] The My Faggot Dog's first appearance on Reddit was in a post called "WHY U LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT?" posted on r/TrollingAnimals September 7th, 2011.[1] It was then reposted onto Reddit several times. The image became popular on Tumblr[2] and appeared in many macros and Photoshopped images.[6][7][8][9][10]
