What Would X Do For Money? (also knowed as Fistful Of Yen) is a Photoshop exploitable, consistsed in two panels: first one shows a character being offered a large sum of cash, second – him/her doing something bad/dirty for that money.
Origin
The meme traces its origin to episode 2 from the 2nd season of K-On! (けいおん!, Keion!), an anime series about a group of high school girls in a music club/band.
In the episode, the club finds an old guitar. Their instructor tells them to pawn it, and it sells for 500,000 yen (roughly $6500 USD) which shocks the girls. The club starts talking about what they’d do with their share when Ritsu, the drummer, waves 100,000 yen in front of Azusa, the rhythm guitarist.
The image was capped and became viral on Japanese anime forums for a short while.
