No You Don't Understand!
About
No You Don't Understand! is a two-panel exploitable series in which a character replies to an onomatopoeia or other non-language with the phrase for comedic effect.
Origin
The scene originates from the manga Me~teru no Kimochi[1] which was serialized from 2006 to 2007. In the 16th chapter of the manga,[2] the character Tsukimi Okamura has a conversation with the main character Yoshinaga Haruka. In the original manga panels, Okamura replies to Haruka with "No You Don't Understand!" prior to the dog barking. The exploitable swaps these two panels.
Spread
Somewhere in 2012, the Tumblr blog Maritova uploaded two versions of the exploitable using the main characters of the Gravity Falls series: Mable and Dipper. The original Tumblr has since been deleted,[3] but they were archived on the Tumblr analysis website Rebloggy in September 2012, with Mabel[4] and Dipper[5] having respectively over 5,000 and 2,600 notes as of April 2015.
