There's an official historical term for the "Golden Age of Comic Books," that lasted from 1938 to 1956. The better part of a century later, we're in a new golden age of superheroes, ones that are taking over every possible form of media from books to movies to TV.

Invincible an Amazon Prime show that's flown under the radar in a time dominated by The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, would have been unimaginable a few short years ago. A darkly funny, brutal and emotional superhero story about a protagonist named "Invincible" who's regularly beaten within an inch of his life, the show has a smaller but devoted fanbase that's excited for the finale later this week … and they have the memes to show for it.
