Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg had every intention of spending his day answering questions from the House Financial Services Committee, but what he wasn't expecting, was being mocked endlessly online after debuting his new haircut. In a testimony that lasted almost the entire day, Zuckerberg discussed Libra, a cryptocurrency projected being proposed by Facebook, that not only faced scrutiny in Washington D.C. but Twitter as well. Yet, the latter spent most of its time generating memes mocking his hair, instead of debating all of the security concerns the new project might potentially face. Below are some of our favorite tweets.

At least his mom loves his hair!

Although this mom did not.

AOC needed to adjust her glasses to get a closer look.

Some users felt it was a plot for him to continue taking over the world.

While others thought he might be auditioning for the next Lego movie.

He also reminded several of some famous Romans.

Perhaps it is time he spends his money on a hairstylist.

Unless these were the two looks he was going for.

Because who isn't a huge Dumb and Dumber fan?

Just how expensive is the bowl cut haircut?

At least he has another congressional hearing to look forward to.

To be fair, there was at least one admirer of the Facebook CEO's hair.

However, the jokes went so far that even Rep. Porter (D-CA) referenced them while questioning Zuckerberg herself.

Although it's hard to feel bad for him when he's making more than any of us by just blinking on television.
