What's The 'Cheese Grater Raccoon?' Here's Why You Don't Want To See It
It seems that the dreaded cheese grater image has surfaced again in memes, but under a new name: the "Cheese Grater Raccoon." Like any Don't Google trend, the shock media has an innocent name. This time, a cute raccoon is the culprit, but trust us, there's nothing cute about this explicit furry image.
So, how exactly does a raccoon and a cheese grater fit together? The real question is, how does a cheese grater fit inside a raccoon? Still not getting it? Well if you've seen the tweets and TikToks about it recently, you might have some better context clues. Let's explain.
What Is The 'Cheese Grater Raccoon?'
What's currently being called the "Cheese Grater Raccoon" is a piece of "nightmare fuel" that has haunted the furry community for years now. It shows what's actually an anthropomorphic ferret-fox ("ferrox") named Fender who's being bent over by another creature and getting a cheese grater "pulled out" of itself. Excrement and other fluids drip onto Fender's face, rendering him helpless.
Recently, many have mistakenly identified Fender the ferret-fox as a raccoon. This is mostly due to new DeviantArt drawings and references in Discord servers, like one new image of the raccoon shredding cheese over a bowl of spaghetti. The original "cheese grater image" was posted to the website e621 in April 2007.
Where Can I See The Original 'Cheese Grater Raccoon' Image?
First of all, ew… Like, why? Second of all, it's kind of hard to find right now. The image is so NSFW that it gets scrubbed from major social media sites, making it impossible to view through a mere Google search.
You'll probably have to dig through the recesses of Reddit, Imgur or 4chan to actually find it. Instead, here are some memes about it to make you laugh without all of the scarring repercussions.
