TikTok Chicken War explained

What's TikTok's 'Chicken War Of 2023?' The Viral Trend Explained

Although the TikTok Chicken War of 2023 might sound dangerous, this wholesome animal trend is far from brutal. In fact, this latest TikTok trend consists of farmers dueting farmers and involves no animals being hurt.

The videos are spreading across social media like crazy as internet users can't believe they've landed on so-called ChickenTok. The wild and wacky world seemingly has more chickens than humans, enough to win an imagined war.

So, what exactly are the current Chicken Wars and should you be worried? Let's explain.

What Is The 'TikTok Chicken War Of 2023?'

A little over a week ago, before the end of May, a TikToker named Dylan Bezjack posted a video of him walking with his flock of chickens, humorously threatening anyone who dared to cross them.

The video led to other chicken farmers on the app dueting and stitching him, showing off their own "armies" and challenging Bezjack's fleet. Going into June, the trend became increasingly viral as anyone with a chicken chimed in.

The videos have become more complex in recent days, involving giant farmhouses filled with chickens. Arguments over whose rooster is bigger have ensued and the war has no sign of slowing down. Hopefully, in the coming months, we'll have cat wars, dog wars, capybara wars, etc. However, there is something about chickens that makes this meme a whole lot better.
