Three months after going viral, Haliey Welch, aka the Hawk Tuah girl, is still thriving online. Now, she's got her own podcast titled Talk Tuah With Haliey Welch.

While the podcast is only one episode deep so far, it's already sunk its claws into many viewers, becoming a meme that's going viral across social media. Here's why.

What Is The 'Talk Tuah' Podcast?'

Back in June, Haliey Welch blew up on social media after a video of her telling an interviewer, "You gotta give him that hawk tuah and spit on that thang," in response to the question, "What's one move in bed that makes a man go crazy every time?" went viral.

Ever since, Welch has earned the nickname "Hawk Tuah girl" and inspired a seemingly endless stream of memes, from the genuine to the ironic.

Many assumed her five minutes of fame would be up by now, but Welch has only continued to grow her online presence over the last few months.

Now, through Jake Paul's company Betr, she's launched Talk Tuah With Haliey Welch, an interview-style podcast on which Welch talks with celebrities, e-celebs and other notable guests about anything and everything. The first episode, in which she sits down with comedian Whitney Cummings, dropped on September 10th and garnered a notable 690,000 views in a week.

How Is The 'Talk Tuah' Podcast Used In Memes?

Since it was announced in early September 2024, Talk Tuah has been the subject of memes. Initially, some people were simply baffled by the fact that Welch, a girl who many figured would be quickly forgotten about, was starting a podcast.

Now that the first episode is out, social media users have started posting memes ironically hyping the podcast up as a must-watch piece of entertainment.

One of the most viral examples is a video uploaded by TikToker @adoptedking in which Talk Tuah is shown on the TV, followed by a pan to a couch full of men laughing and cheering Welch on after she references her viral meme.

Dozens of memes following a similar format are going viral on TikTok and X / Twitter in which the podcast is portrayed as something groundbreaking, unmissable and worth paying close attention to.
